For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved telling stories. Whether through drawings, writing, or animation, I always found a way to share the vivid inner world I had as a child. Today, I’m an Animation Director, and before that, I was a Character Animator. But beyond the titles, I see myself as someone who enjoys making others smile and supporting the people around me. I like to listen to and motivate my team, and I highly value sincerity, humility, and respect. I firmly believe in balance: knowing when to push yourself, when to stop, and how to find that balance. It’s something I try to apply every day, both to be the best version of myself and to help my team be the best version of themselves.
Iván del Río is currently a lead animator at Skydance.
He has 20 years of experience working on international projects for feature films, television series, and commercials.
Throughout my career, I have worked for studios such as Framestore and Illumination MacGuff, among others.
Sergio currently works as a lead animator at Skydance Animation. Some of his most recent projects include *Blush*, *Luck*, and *Wonder Park*.
He is currently working on *Swapped*, a Skydance Animation production.
Fran has built his career as an animation supervisor on productions such as *Justin and the Sword of Courage* (2013), produced by Kandor Graphics, and Skydance Animation's latest film, *Swapped*.
Admission
To ensure that you will get the most out of the workshop, we need to review your demo reel and assess your level. Basically, we want to see that you have a good grasp of the principles of animation and that your mechanics are solid enough for you to tackle the workshop with confidence.
1 Submit your Reel
We will review your demo reel and assess whether you have the necessary level to get the most out of the workshop and make the most of each stage of the process.
2 Feedback
After our evaluation, we will give you detailed feedback on your reel. If we do not recommend that you take the workshop, you can try again at a later date.
3 Reserve
If we believe that you can fully benefit from the workshop, we will tell you how to reserve your place. You can choose between our tutors according to your preference.
